This virtual course will teach writers how to develop a strategy for publishing a work of narrative nonfiction. Topics will include 1) crafting a nonfiction book proposal; 2) building a platform through blogging, online publishing, and social media; 3) the three venues to publication (self-publishing, academic, or commercial press); 4) whether you need a literary agent and how to query them.
